Regulation, fees and data

Last updated: August 2026

Bedrock Commercial Finance is a commercial finance broker, not a lender. We arrange finance for UK limited companies only and introduce those companies to funders that may be able to support them.

1. Who we are

Our legal entity and registered-office details are:

Bedrock Commercial Finance Limited

Company number: 17407283

Registered in England and Wales

Registered office: Suite 99 Milton Keynes Business Centre, Foxhunter Drive, Linford Wood, Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, MK14 6GD

2. Our regulatory status

Bedrock Commercial Finance Limited is not authorised or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) because it does not undertake regulated activities. The business-to-business commercial-finance products we broker for UK limited companies sit outside the FCA regulatory perimeter.

We deal with limited companies only. We do not arrange finance for consumers, sole traders, or partnerships, and we do not arrange regulated credit. Bedrock is a broker, not a lender. A funder makes its own lending decision and is responsible for the terms of any finance agreement it offers.

Because our service is not regulated, clients do not have protection from the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or access to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) for complaints about our commercial-finance broking service.

3. How Bedrock is paid

Bedrock receives commission from funders when we arrange finance. The amount depends on the product, funder, facility size, and structure. Our usual commission ranges are:

  • Asset finance: 1–2% of the funds raised
  • Property finance: 1–2% of the funds raised
  • Cashflow loans: 5–10% of the funds raised
  • Invoice discounting: 20% of the funder's arrangement fee and 20% of its ongoing service charge

These ranges describe the commission paid to Bedrock; they are not a statement of the total interest, fees, or charges you may pay to a funder. Those costs will be set out in the funder's own terms.

Potential conflicts

Commission can vary between products and funders, so Bedrock may receive more for arranging one facility than another. This creates a potential conflict of interest. You can ask us to explain how we selected the options presented to you and the actual or expected commission for a proposed facility.

4. How we use enquiry data

We use the information you provide to understand your requirements, identify possible funding options, respond to you, and—where you ask us to proceed—share relevant information with potential funders. We also use service providers to host the website, store enquiries, and send transactional email. We do not sell personal data or share it for another organisation's own marketing.

Our privacy policy explains what we collect, our lawful bases, who receives data, how long we keep it, and your rights. Our cookie policy explains the technologies used on this site and how to manage your preferences.

5. Complaints and questions

To make a complaint about our service, regulatory status, or commission, email info@bedrockfinance.co.uk with the subject line “Complaint”. Please include your company name, contact details, the relevant finance enquiry, what went wrong, and the outcome you are seeking.

We will acknowledge a complaint within three working days, investigate it fairly, and provide a final written response within 20 working days. If we need more time, we will explain why before that deadline and give you a revised response date. FOS does not apply to complaints about this unregulated business-to-business broking service.

For questions or complaints about personal data, email privacy@bedrockfinance.co.uk. The privacy policy explains your rights. If you remain dissatisfied, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK data-protection regulator.
